Her Choice

Walking along the prairie hillside in the sun.
Perfect weather out here for this walk of one.
Taking in deep breaths as she reaches the hilltop.
She picks a flower and smells it as she stops.

Looking out at the ocean you can see for miles.
One magnificent view in sight, as she smiles.
From here you can here the waves crashing sound,
as they just keep coming until they hit the earthen mound.

She looks up at the sky and shakes her head up and down.
Walking towards the oceans cliff in her flowing white gown.
Approaching the edge of the cliff she stops and looks at the drop.
Admiring the view from where she stands at the peaks top.

Up here dreams are out there and so clear.
Looking out she smiles while she sheds a tear.
Dreams once so strong, now so weak.
She smiles and looks out as she steps off the mountainous peak.
