Her Best Friend
They stare at her
Talk about her
Laugh at the way she dress
But how dare they
When there in the same situation to?
Her family stands in line to get something to eat
She sits down way in the back to adviod meeting anybody
They all wonder what shes there for
She sits and stare off the world of the unknown
"How could i be in this place again?" she thinks to herself
She goes up to the room
Cries herself to sleep
Wishing darkness would come and put her at peace
She awakes and finds darkness has come but
Not in the form of death
In the form of cutting again
She made that first slit and it was like she felt good again
She got so addicted she couldnt quit
Started to cover up again
No one really notice until he came
He became her friend and at first she didnt trust him
She wasnt going to tell him her truth
But he promised he would always be true to her
So she told him everything and from then on
She made a promise to him,but most importanly to herself
She promised to never cut again
Got herself out of being homeless
She is living great now at her aunts
Although sometimes she gets the urge to start again
She doesnt she just think of her best friend. . .
*a month since i quit. . .very proud of myself. i was homeless until last week when i left and
came to live with my auntie and her family. my mom and sisters and a brother still is but
they will be out soon. i had to leave in order to succeed. . .*
