Her Auburn Tresses

               Fairest skin that ever graced
                  a springtime meadow’s rolling hills
               Waving grasses bowed to her
                  as did full-grown daffodils

O, Fates, let not her auburn tresses
                  shaped by wind’s own fingers
                one day fade to dishwater
                   pressing laundry in the wringer

Well, the Harlem Globetrotters once beat him. In 1947, I think it was.

This gave me a chuckle Gershon. It happens to us all. Men as well as women. My once thick, chestnut brown hair is gray and faded now and what hair my husband still has is snow white and whispy. ;) (smile) Time ain't no gentleman. God Bless, JB
