Her and the Moon

It's beneath the moons bright full smile Tears fall unchecked from a whimsical child Unknowing of the pain he had caused Nor of a true love that he had paused He had allowed an intrusion into his ear Deceitful words took what was dear Now under his gaze she sat in sorrow Of her loss, pain she wouldn't borrow Feeling the pain way deep within her bones Hadn't seen all the many painful unknowns And within the dank and dark mist She had only prayed to once feel his kiss Coming to realize that this would never be She prayed her heart would soon be free
