Her and Me

Streaks of gleaming solar beams
Spears through the warm aqua blue
My life's ultimate quest of fantasy and venture
Was God's glorious undersea view.

The warmth of "Her" southern blanket
Comforts me as if I were at home
Waves disclose mass energies of life
Tides call me for a story book roam.

The vivid proud colors project at me
As my mind tries to soak it all in
A serenity I have never lived before
My inner-man with a fixed grin.

Mazes through the jagged coral
Anticipation explodes around every turn
My seeking eyes eagerly hunger
For a memorable new sight to learn.

I will always be a part of "Her"
"She" will forever live as a part of me
When "He" takes my hand to leave this all
Please, cast my shell into "Her" South Seas.

The forms of poetry are on the left hand side under "Resources" of the home page here at the Soup and your writing will be seen by more of us if it doesn't say "I don't know" under the form.
