Her Abyss

Along life's many wondering moons. A girl gets caught up and she swoons. The tide can ebb and flow too much. And then she finds she's out of touch. The waters got too deep to swim. He lost her and she lost him. It all started with one kiss. As she fell deep in her abyss. The breathing starts and stops with pain. When she recalls that sad refrain. That caused her to make those hard choices. That now ring out in silent voices. The waters got too deep to swim. He lost her and she lost him. It all started with that sweet kiss. As she descends to her abyss. The light still shines deep in her soul. But in her heart it takes it's toll. As rivers wash out to the sea. I wish that she would float with me. We'd break the surface of this ocean And swim ashore in loves devotion. And lay there in the warm sunlight. Holding each other forever tight. The waters got too deep to swim. He lost her and she lost him. It all starts with a sweet kiss. A chance to find what we both miss.
