Her

She makes the room feel full and warm, The presence she has forced me to look and that is what I was feeling, The lonely feeling I’ve had ever since I understood not everybody loves one another, We pick and choose in ways that just veil our hypocrisy or we’re simply bitter, Just by looking at her this pain became so alien it didn’t hurt, I couldn’t even recognize my life anymore, Nothing was clear but the fact that I had changed, She changed my life and she didn’t even see me, When I drifted back into my body after being blown out of my own mind I thought about happiness, It captured my heart entirely to imagine it, And I never thought for a second that I would be like this, I’ve played make-belief throughout my life, Wearing a mask and acting out a life that I wanted to believe in, Then this vision came to me, I was witness to my own rapture, All of this was because I saw her.
