The morning sun struggles free from the grasp of the nights darkness But he doesnt notice Her long, flowing hair glistens in the light of the morning He doesnt notice The sprawling field of wildflowers proudly boasts its beauty to the world He doesnt notice The Lord's broad, beautiful Creation unfolds before him daily He doesnt notice The fleeting moments of his life fly by in a flash that to him takes forever He doesnt notice All he notices is the large empty hole in his chest and the agonizing, slow creep of lifes journey without being whole The world passes him by but he doesnt notice He only notices that he doesnt have HER
