Her selflessness inspiring
Her heart so pure and true
Her presence keeps you smiling
Her unconditional love shines through
Her desire in putting others first
Her time with treasured friends
With her positive nature
Your broken heart she mends
Her smell of Dolce Vita
Her eyes so bright and blue
Her love of crime scene series
The Greek islands is where she flew
Her impartial opinions
Her love for the biscuit tin
Her laid back approach to life
Her beautiful radiant grin
Her bubbly personality
Her questionable singing
Her sanity in working
Her strength in our upbringing
Her supportiveness through the bad times
Her independence to the core
Her patience is astonishing
A woman I adore
Her devotion to her family
Her sweet kind natured aura
Her fondness of a daffodil
Her bracelet full of Pandora
She turned my fears to happiness
Guided me through life
always lent her shoulder
cried when I became a wife
For she
She has no manual
She wings it from the start
She gives you everything she has
even when she's falling apart
For her this poem I penned
Though she is my mother
and I her daughter
She is truly my best friend...
