Henchmen
I am you’re inhumane subconscious.
The devilish whisper,
The frightful whimper
The regrettable temper.
The sporadic thoughts of sin
The undeniable beastly lust within
The scheming fool who in the end, thinks he is going to win.
I remind you of your sadness.
The days you wish you were dead
Thinking of all the things you said that’s locked up inside your head.
Tormenting you while you sleep
Keeping you away from anyone good you meet.
Because I’m lucifers henchmen,
And I will always be discreet.
I’ll keep you away from your passion
Telling you obscure lies that fills my satisfaction.
And there will never be a compromise because I am in disguise feeding on your demise while telling you that your unwise for the God given life you deserve to have.
I’ll keep you from your dreams,
With my clever little schemes,
I’ll let you know who reigns supreme,
And kill your self esteem.
Because I am the devil’s henchmen,
I am your inhuman subconscious.
And if you give into me.
The end is all you will see.
