Help me, Lord, to do Thy Will
Let me chase more than a thrill
Lift up my eyes to that rugged cross
Assuring me my heart is not a loss

Help me, Lord, to understand
The time for rescue is at hand
My heart aches to feel You close
I’m so very thankful You arose!

Help me, Lord, to listen to grace
Fill my thoughts with Your embrace
Silence the stirrings of sin and strife
I'm reaching out to You, the joy of my life

Help me, Lord, to know Your word
Because without it being heard
I’d loose my heart to the depths of shame
Where I’d only have myself to blame

Help me, Lord, to shine the light You gave
Letting go of anger, never fearing the grave
Praising You with every word and deed
Giving my heart and soul to more than greed

Help me, Lord, to know Your voice
You are the reason my soul will rejoice
When the time is right, I’ll take my flight
Leaving this world for heaven so bright

Help me, Lord, to give praise to Your name
You are the reason that my soul overcame
All of the sorrow, the doubt and the fear
Today, I sing praises and shed a tender tear
