Help
Help me.
I'm stranded here.
I'm lost in a sea of inhumanity,
And I can't find my way out.
And so, everyday of my life,
I try to escape and each dayI fail yet again.
You say it's easy to get out,
But you've never been here
.You don't know what it's like,
To be here day after day,
To need help so desperately,
And to never, ever get it.
And because you don't know what it's like
To be lost in this void.
To be lost in a never-ending void
Of helplessness and shame.
A shame of the most humiliating kind.
One where no one can EVER even begin to understand.
It's the shame of being useless,
Of being unable to escape from this hell.
And so, I leave you here to ponder.
To ponder the truth and reality of my situation.
Just let that sink in,
And maybe then you'll realize how I've lost my way.
But before you go, I ask but one thing of you.
Please find me someone to help me,
To lift me up out of this hell.
Help me....
Please.....
