Gone are the days when we used to wave used to play we used to rave about flowers and children and really tall buildings that touch the sky and the hearts of all that walk by hoping for the chance to settle in this city that we love so much. Gone are the days when we used to cry we used to sigh we used to feel low when somebody died but the visions the feed us begin to bleed us and the young feed on them to come full circle again in this dream of reality we call life and death. Gone are the days when we used to kiss we used to hug we used to miss each other when we were apart even when we were together....holding hands so tight we left prints on the back of our palms marking our arms with tatoos of I LOVE YOU found in the Psalms Proverbs and the Song of Solomon but ignorance from our next of kin won't allow us to ever win til' these days of ours are going, going Gone are the days Gone are the nights Gone are the humans.
