HELLO HEAVEN, HOW ARE YOU ANGEL Princess Diana is dead! What, have you heard, is it true, How can it be, such a dread. Yes, it’s true, put on your TV, And you will see! She died in a crash in Paris, In the early morn, Now we must all mourn, The 31st August 1997, Diana the goddess of hunting, Hunted and mowed down under a Bridge in a battered up car, Is now an angel in Heaven. Diana died in her prime, she generated Magic where ever she went, Or was sent! Her two adorable heartbroken boys, Follow their mother’s coffin On a walk of sorrow, For them a troubled tomorrow! An envelope on the coffin which simply Said “mummy” from her son Harry Had the world in tears, Their worst fears, Being how would these boys Grow up without their mom, She wouldn’t be there for Their School leaving prom! But look at them both, Such charming elegant Princes, With beautiful wives, Kate and Meghan These four young people’s matchmaker, Was in Heaven! The two girls would definitely Have been Diana’s choice, For her two boys! Kate a whirlwind romance, with William, Britain’s future King, And Meghan, the beautiful American Actress presented with Diana’s Sapphire ring, Which brought, hope to the world As international flags furled And uncurled! These four have flourished and Will shortly be eight, The world seems to have joined hands, And have become royalist fans, As a monarchy rather stern In the past, Has now became a monarchy, So in contrast to the past, and Accepted by the vast! As Diane looks down with Electric blue eyes, And everyday spies The loves of her life, Diana their guardian angel, Their ever faithful, Charles remains a loving father, Grandfather, and mentor, To both families More and more!

Such a tragic day our son was very young then and was watching early morning cartoons - they kept interrupting what ever was on to say that Princees Diana was dead - my son ran in to tell us. Diana was everybodies darling - globally. Thank for your comment S.O Jennifer

I don't follow the royal family's activities closely, but Diana captured my interest and admiration. Like people all over the world, I cried. Always wanted to know more about the cause of the crash as rumors spread. Your tribute to the princess is very touching, Jennifer. Well done! Hugs, carolyn

Thank-you Carolyn, always enjoy your comments - have great meaning and substance. I think both of her boys must have been sad that she wasn't in body at their weddings, but she certainly was in soul and spirit. Poetry hugs and wishes, Jennifer.

Yes, she was a jewel--much loved in England, USA, everywhere. Her boys are impressive, fine young men--wives and kids, great. GOOD piece, Jennifer. Janice

Hi Janice, I just felt her presence and aura around even through the TV, at Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding. A proud mom looking down at her children and more importantly, their guardian angel Thank you for the comment Janice, Be well, poetry wishes, Jennifer

America mourned as if she was one of our own, for Diana was too big to belong to only one country; she was a world wide monarch. One of the very few who ever was. I am sure she knows of this poem and is pleased. I am also.
