Hello Ghost
I have been visited this month
by ghosts from my past,
particularly a ghost to be
who let it be known he
would become so
though I wish I would
have gotten the message
in time
and he still is
haunting me
I am wondering if
we are meant to
dwell on those
we knew
or knew not
too well at all
but still it remains
that your lingering
memories softly intrude
on my sleeping and waking
thoughts
and only I wish
we could have
had that cup of tea
and you didn't need to
split so soon
