hello from far away
i am doing fine
in progress is the continuity of rhythm and rhyme
all winding roads lead to quiet highways perfectly straight
all newfound articulate scenery i eagerly await
please know that i think of you at every exit and entry
i appreciate the spring water scented salutations that you sent me
the more distant that i get the closer to my heart that you are
the memory of you is etched in my mind whether near or far
there is no such thing as a fond farewell or a simple goodby
if i were truly devoted to you i certainly would try

one day i hope my actual eyes will be the honorary recipient that meets you
