Hellfire

hellfire burst forth tonight
glowing ashes released their light
my Lord and Savior smiled as I
accepted that which others deny

there is this day little to say
as I confess profess and display
in terms word He has not blurred
epiphany tonight occurred

everyone selects their choice
in the manner of their rejoice
reject mistake and forsake
fallacy as their keepsake

from darkest night emerges light
without excuse the slightest fright
shall not dissuade or taint
one's commitment without restraint
