He'Ll Be There

He moved the mighty mountains
He quelled the raging sea
He washed the blood of sinners
Including you and me

You know about Old Noah's flood
And all about salvations blood
You know about his saving Grace and
The loving countenance upon his face

The radiant beams from the sun's warming rays
Were created by Him, turning night into day
We know full well these miraculous things
And how He made the birds to sing

He made the rain to nourish the land
And made the deserts very dry and bland
He made winter snowflakes to coat the earth
He created man with a sense of mirth

He made each one of us some short some tall
He caused our birth's in spring and fall
He was there when we lived and then when we died
When we spoke the truth and of course when we lied

He was there when we met and fell in love
All this He arranged in Heaven above
He was there when we cuddled our firstborn child
And He cuddled us when a loved one died

He was there when we aged with wrinkles and grey
He'll be there when we quietly, pass away
He'll be there to greet us at the gates of His home
To assure us in Heaven, we'll never be alone

He'll be there when Gabriel blows his horn
He'll be there to greet us on resurrection morn
A joyful day when we see all our kin
Knowing eternity will be spent, there with Him!
