Heavy

We all have times of sudden pressure
We all have times of constant stress
Sometimes its hard to enjoy leisure
And we all can get depressed

I want to run away sometimes
I want to ing scream
I get so in angry
When they don’t get what I mean
(When I say)

CHORUS
I get so ing down sometimes
When things get in my way
Sick of always second guessing
And being wrong anyway

I can’t even tell my friends
They’ve already heard it all

I tell em all im taking it slow and steady

But who else can I turn to
When things get
in
 Heavy
—————

Perhaps I ain’t the crying sort
I just wallow by myself
I just smoke the pain away
And stow it on the shelf

Perhaps if I’d just open up
Someone will understand
But it’s not within my power
To keep making such demands
(What do I tell them)

CHORUS

I can’t help but feel like
This weights getting pretty
in
Heavy

Though my shoulders may be broad
And I’ve always carried weight
It’s facing it alone
That makes it more than I can take

Maybe I should go to therapy
But who’s got time for that?
Sometimes my thoughts are scaring me
Cuz my plans keep falling flat

CHORUS

I don’t know if
I can keep carrying a weight this
ing
Heavy
