Heavens Heroes
[Second go at ‘a poem in six lines’ contest]
When I get to heaven, if I should be so lucky
I’m gonna get some rubber boots and find a field that’s mucky
I’ll ask around to find out where the coolest folk hang out
Then I’d ask Elvis if he knows if Bowie is about
Once I’ve got his autograph, what’s next is best of all
I’m gonna organise an ‘All Time Greats’ pop festival
