Heavens Gate

He took me to heavens gate
to feel what I've been missing
I chose to close my eyes and pray
but nervously I listened...

I waited for a voice to say
that I'm allowed to enter
but carefully I'm pulled away
by clouds that smell of winter...

My father I just want to stay
and live among my people
would you refuse and turn away
the children of your steeple?

Then he appeared before me
and I looked into his eyes
I saw my own self staring at me
from the other side
