Heaven's Doormat
Heaven’s doormat scribes our birthnames,
woven from fine wicker,
oblivious to sins or fame;
holy entrance richer.
Designed to cleanse our feet,
past relatives we meet;
entering, angels greet.
Jesus will chat.
Heaven’s doormat.
