Heavenly Union
I watched the moon
A silver ship
That floated across the sky
And the twinkling star
At the top of her mast
Was the lantern she held high
The cloak of twilight
Had exchanged its guise
For a coat of ebony hue
And the stars in the night
Put on their best
For the marriage that was due
The lovely Venus
Stepped on the ship
In her gown of virgin white
To greet her lover
The firey Mars
And be his maid tonight
And oh what love filled the eve
As the red planet
Joined his bride
And they ride on the moon
The silver ship
As hand in hand they glide
