dainty daffodil
your golden trumpet fanfares

haiku perfection, haiga grand, the title a modernist addition, as you know, me being a traditionalist I don't agree, regardless it does not detract from your talent as a haiku composer, write on special lady. Congratulations on both counts hugs Mick

aww thanks Mick - I was persuaded by another member Charmaine to submit some of my poems to haiku Journal and this was one of two of my haiku that were printed in that edition. A blogger in the US picked up on my poems and did an article about the best haiku in the world which made me lol as I struggle writing the form and an American soap actress had one of my poems as a photo on her FB page:-) hugs jan xx

Thanks Teddy I would never have submitted my poem to the journal if I hadn't been encouraged by Charmaine Chircop. In the end I think they accepted 3 of my poems and another one was published in their three line poetry journal:-) hugs jan xx
