I thought our days would last forever I thought we'd grow old and gray together making plans and building dreams not too much to ask would seem. Couldn't heaven wait just one more night? Her face I'd see with morning light a gift to me that felt so right all our dreams just whisked away what life could be if she could stay. Couldn't heaven wait just one more night?
