Heaven Rhyme

I don't know what to expect maybe songs, maybe flowers. I think maybe I'll hold onto earth, want to smooth sheets, shower. Your hand will be the hardest to give up, kiss goodbye your warmth next to mine the sunrise of love in your eyes. Maybe they'll be an open door just beyond my reach, a halo light knowing you're there waiting to kiss my lips, kiss hello and maybe all the kisses I ever had will rush like fire maybe we'll speed off through stars go faster, farther, and much higher... Or maybe I'll cling to earth become eyes in stone, watch from afar become a brook burble of mirth that's enough for me, flowers love, fire, kisses, growing lighter... 9/11/2018

A beautiful tribute to heaven, and your loved one, kisses, and hello's. So much to re-read. I am diving back in for another peek at the goodness you have put onto the page, Sheri.
