Heaven In Eight Days

Rouge strands dance around
Eyes piercing into my soul
Love is spelt with a glance
Inching finger tips
Destined to touch
Intertwine in a tango
Love is spelt with a touch

A cold breeze interrupts
My dream violently awakened
By the void shifting it’s weight
In the empty space sharing my
Bed tonight is not a good
Night you kissed me every
Night I couldn’t feel your warmth
I rushed to consciousness an
Attempt headed for a reunion
Of lovers a glimpse of my
Life to come hair tickled my
Ears whispering as your lips do

Hypnotized as your lashes expose
Their gems behind lids beating
Steadily three in unison amaze
Me as your hips do coiled all night
Your body is my guitar and I’ll
Play till my fingers hurt
Our song this love wrote
Over and over in my head
This dream comes every
Slumber reliving heaven in
Eight days
