Heaven Described
DESCRIBE HEAVEN
To describe heaven… let me see,
from ideas in my head?
From scriptures that have been twisted,
or verses…that I’ve read?
Heard, “Truth is stranger than fiction,”
at this…might try my hand?
Was warned if I pursue this course,
in trash this poem…might land
Heaven, I feel most will agree
is dwelling place…of God.
Spirit creatures in invisible realm
make up his… heavenly Squad.
Note, angels have order and rank,
first Michael, the archangel.
Foremost in power, authority
in honor… does excel.
Next among high ranking angels,
those, “stationed ‘round God’s throne.”
Privilege, honor, God’s gave seraphs,
in these…his confidence shown.
God, God of order and design,
gave these seraphs… three pairs of wings.
Two cover face, feet… two to fly,
while, Holy to God…sing.
With humility, modesty,
seraphs cover their face.
Feet too… in God’s Kingly presence,
show him respect, love … grace.
Ninety times cherubs are mentioned.
Next come God’s messengers.
These serve as communicators,
and his…. executioners.
Next think, gonna share a “Secret,”
real or not, you decide.
God’s PURPOSE, for centuries hidden,
reveal… no longer hide.
“Sacred secret”…from long ago.
Guess, who wanted to know?
Who, desired…peer into secret?
Angels! … Not time, although.
When Jesus chose explain secret,
disciples… ones first told.
“Secret secret of THE KINGDOM
OF GOD”…Christ did unfold.
Kingdom, which Christ taught us to pray,
what secret’s… all about!
Purpose…make earth Paradise again.
Isaiah words…want to shout!
Guess who God chose to rule kingdom?
Answer… Son’s chosen king!
Next secret? OTHERSr with Christ rule!
God’s will on earth…they bring.
Men, women life in heaven…gain,
where they too…have a rank.
With Christ they’ll rule as Kings and Priest,
God’s “chosen few”… he’ll grant.
Long time, exact number not known
secret…did not know.
One hundred forty four thousand,
God later… let John show.
All governments have chosen few,
rule subjects seas to sea.
God’s heavenly Kingdom…government,
soon rule earth, you…and me.
Heavenly government described,
doubt few have visualized.
Kingdom comes, God’s Will on earth’s done!
In Paradise…dead now rise!
God’s original plan for earth,
Earth’s“former things” ...removed.
No more pain, nor death, nor dying
Bible…these facts can prove.
Heaven’s not some free for all place,
where humans do …their will.
Obits, reveal wrong assumptions,
folks hang out there…to “Chill”
Heaven’s organized… for God’s plan
Here…carries out his will.
This how I describe God’s heaven
it’s rulers…do more than chill!
