Heaven

Heaven indeed is a very real place;
A dwelling place for the human race.

Pursuing heaven is a challenging quest;
And in this mortal state, there are tests.

May we always be content to embrace
Whatever befalls us in this pilgrim race.
We are ever secured by God's grace.

May we be patient and not make haste.
May we be trusting and learn to wait,

Because God has set his very own date.
Through Christ alone do we enter the gate.
