Heating Or Eating

The house is cold, the woman is old. No food in the cupboard. What can she do?
Off to the shop, it's warmer outside. No place to escape to.

What can she do. Why have to choose. A choice between eating and heating.

Pension doesn't go far. She worked all her adult life. Show some respect. The poor woman
freezes. To cold and frail.

What can she do. Why have to choose. A choice between eating and heating.

It's sad to think so many of our elderly are in that kind of situation. good write Yasmin Your poetry says a lot about the subjects you write about. I enjoy reading them
