Heat, Why So Cold
Why so cold?
Can't they see her bones?
Don't they see her tattered clothes?
Why so cold?
Can't they see the mother doesn't know?
Don't they see the babies are alone?
Why so cold?
Can't they see the soldier doesn't want to die?
Don't they see the tears flow from his mothers eyes?
Why so cold?
Can't they see she's grown so very old?
Don't they see that we act so damn cold?
Why not heat?
Can't they see the warmth would do such good?
Don't they see we would act the way we should?
