Heart's Sad Song
Today as I sing
I sing a sad song
A sad song in my heart
The tone so low
the rhyme so weak
The lines so sad
Of a sad song I sing.
Today I mourn
Today I shed tears of a sad song
Life is so short
cant believe there is death
so I sing a sad song

Gone so early forever
what a sad sad may-weather
Taken To Glory so early in life
What a strange life
So I sing a sad song
A sad song in my heart.
Lord have mercy
Give my Saul merry
Save me from the hurt in my heart
Give me a happy face
wipe away my tears
let me sing a song tomorrow
To take away my sorrow.
Give me the strength
Add me more breadth
Give me the power
To live every hour
let me sing a song tomorrow
To take away my sorrow.
