Hearts Pieces

When your heart breaks into
               tiny pieces,
Jesus picks them up one by one.
Shapes it in a new way,
until what He wants is done.
The tiny splinters He carefully
                holds
to fill in the cracks of the
     heart He remolds.
When He is finished He shines
               it with love,
Blesses the heart with peace
               from above.

Edith: I have a sister Edith. :o) She's retired in Ariz. I'm still in Iowa just waiting to expire. :o) I appreciate your writings of faith. Keep them coming. All of us on the soup need to "hear" your thoughts. My first book of rhymes was entitled: Rhyming my Religious thoughts to help make sense of the sacred. Edith is about the only one that bought any. :o) oldbuck
