Hearts of Alcor and Mizar

Flickering flash of brightness Around my beloved Mizar, Millions years of togetherness In love he whispers ‘Alcor!’ On a dark night up in the sky, Just look up towards North, You see the Polaris if you try, To guide you to our hearth! We have set up house together In parallel line with that star, Our address is the Big Dipper, Our love home is not so far! Two lovers tied in matrimony We are symbol of eternal bond, True lovers there are not many, Even in other galaxies beyond! We were lovers on earth once, Centuries before you were born, Happily living with our little kids, Till our earthly lives were torn. We lived in a part of the world, Near some hills, river and farms We loved and lived to be old, And died in each others arms! We became stars as lovers do, The moment our hearts stopped, Flickering lights are us lovers two, hearts pulsate with love unlocked!
