Heart's Desire

A fire that burns within my soul As the flames caress my skin Filled with wanton desire As we harvest the love within Your touch creates the tremors That quake my very core Your kiss, a faint temptation That leaves me wanting more Your smile demands its envy That makes the sun ashamed Your eyes steal the moon's delight And all the stars are blamed Your hair, the touch of fine spun silk, Woven from Heaven's loom You hold my senses hostage With the smell of your perfume Your laugh is like a symphony That's music to my ears Your hug is like a mother's kiss That calms my deepest fears One like you is hard to find And I thank the Lord above For granting me, my heart's desire, My one and only love
