Hearts Condition
The pain I had is gone,
I can't feel, I'm numb inside.
At least my eyes are dry,
All of my tears I have cried.
My heart was so badly broken,
It hasn't healed back together.
It is in a very fragile condition,
There's nothing it can weather.
Maybe at some point in the future,
When my heart has had time to heal,
If the numbness will go away,
Then we'll talk about how I feel.
If I ever get over this heartbreak,
I promise I will still love you.
But if my heart doesn't survive,
Our lives will be through.
