Heartless Tired Disposable

The world looks empty, no lights on in the windows
Just like the window to my heart,
Dark and empty. Heartless.

A single car drives by,
A sleepy driver and half asleep passenger.
Reminds me of relationships these days,
Everyone getting bored. Tired.

A stranger throws his empty coffee cup on the ground,
That's how I feel, thrown away and forgotten. Disposable.

I try to rid these feelings, but they are demons,
Stuck in my mind, slowly taking over me.
And they're stronger than me. They've won.

Sounds awful. But you've used your metaphors well. Nicely done.

A true picture in words of the hollow environment ... Nice poetic expression of the pain and anxiety ... but the demon must be kept at bay ...
