Heartless
secrets holding tightly to your beaten heart
ripping the inside out from the start
post part-um depression
and trauma sessions
cutting into every thought you bare
every time you breath
your heart shakes
it feels like one more crack
is all it will take
to brake
to shatter
it's what she wanted, right?
your smothered heart on a platter
well here it goes tonight.
your one step away from
grasping death
three steps to far
to take it back
as you hold tightly
to every piece
of your life
it starts to bleed
from under your knife,
your bruised and beaten shadow
can't take any more
it's like every word she said
was just a lure
to get you closer
to your demise
with every hit you took
she fed you more lies
disaster and confusion
takes it's toll
you let the blade slid
but it's to dull
your body breaks
as the words grow cold
no part of your life
was bold enough to hold
on to, into another daze
add the drugs
and get hazed
happiness is only
another fantasy
so here lies the funeral
of another broken life
to quickly ended
by a bloody knife
temptation lies
at every sharp edge
here she left you
out for dead
