Heartbroken
Heartbroken

Bitten once again by that fickle mistress of love
Yet I hide beneath the stairs
Lest my penance exact its toll
Her icy talons pierce heart and mind
An endless cycle of malicious retribution
For sins of the father in darkness I kneel
And pray for myself the child.
