HEARTBROKEN

HEARTBROKEN

Waning moons
Close your eyes
Slowly, Pain
Has peirced your pride
A dull and heavy blade
Is love
Solely, you are in blame
A self inflicted wound
That perfect word
And in her eyes, surprise
You can't retrieve
With neverminds
The one, once said
Unclothes the soul
Leaves you naked and alone
One which bleeds
You cannot sew
With fancy threads
Death, If death concerns himself
Be sure his ride is slow
Was not sight forsaken you
But reason you abandoned blind
That laugh beneath her brow
Those Heavens hid
A shroud of rain
Black, fast, her storming clouds
Her walk has left you lost
Her back, has answered, not
While flowers bloom
Against your heart
Perdition's flame has won
Your soul, now left ablaze
That one, and lonely word
Survives apart
To slip away unscathed
