Heartbreak -Version 1

Reality sucks, Can I go back to sleep? In my dreams everything is perfect, But I guess that’s why they call them dreams Because they shatter into thousands of pieces Until they’re nothing more than sand, blown away by the wind. I want you to be happy, even if that means I am not with you, And the only thing I can do is hold back the tears Pretend I’m happy, for when my eyes Are closed I am happy; Can’t I stay sleeping? :( You are an amazing poet. I really like the shape this poem made. Quite artfully structured, I must say. Always, Laura
