Heartbreak To Healing

* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

You cannot know my heart,
or what you've put it through.
You ran away with hers,
Now I'm running away from you.

So don't you dare come back here,
knocking at my door.
What is it that you want from me?
To take a little more?

I'm not sure what it is you're feeling,
or where you mean to go with this.
But, I am busy healing.
I am not yet at forgiveness.

Live your life...be happy...
however you choose to do.
"We had a good run.".....right?...that's what you said.
Now, I know we're through.

Was your daughter betrayed by a man who professed love, Ellen? How difficult it must be to see this happen to your loved one. Forgiveness will come eventually -- AFTER the healing. Have a blessed Easter, Carolyn
