Heartbreak Nights

In silent nights, where echoes softly weep, A heart once whole now finds it hard to sleep. The dreams we shared, now shadows in the past, A love so deep, we thought it sure would last. The laughter fades, replaced by silent tears, Each memory a whisper of our fears. The promises we made, now broken lies, Reflecting in the sorrow of our eyes. Yet in this pain, a strength begins to grow, A lesson learned in every tear we show. For though our hearts may break and feel the sting, In time, we’ll find the courage to take wing. The days feel long, the nights an endless sea, Of thoughts and dreams of what we used to be. But through the haze, a glimmer starts to shine, A hope that one day, all will be divine. For every end, a new beginning waits, A chance to heal, to open different gates. Though now it hurts, this too shall pass away, And bring the dawn of a much brighter day. So let the tears fall gently, heal the soul, For in the end, we’ll rise and once more be whole. With time, the heart will mend, the scars will fade, And in their place, new strength and love displayed. We’ll cherish what was lost, but look ahead, To paths unknown, where brighter dreams are led. For heartbreak, though it wounds, can also teach, That love is vast, and always within reach.
