Heartbeats Fossilized in Rose
Heartbeats Fossilized in Rose
In the valley of mountains
which surrounded loneliest desert of all time
I am visiting Petra while city glowing at sunset
with orange pink like bride
Where Mystery beauty and Shadow of sorrow
roaming for thousands years
People abandoned and forgotten
the rose red city of Petra in the dust of time
Walk through siq at sunset like fire follow me secretly
Why I am roaming in the city of resilience
which covered by time dust without sympathy
When I reached to Roman theatre
the scent of history dancing in rose red gown
with silence in his eyes
But then I closed my eyes
and heard wind whispers a story of forbidden love
Two from rival tribes
ran in siq to meet
soldiers came and mountain hold breath
they prayed rocks hide us
now they are part of stone
that is why siq sighs at dusk
Lost in the treasury and prayed
the rocks would hide them
But the canyon closed behind them
and they become part of the stone
Petra seems to magical wonderland
who stood with pride and mysteries in its crown
Mountain carved and build
the city of romance and beauty at all
I came as visitor
I left with stone in my chest
and whisper of two lovers
walking beside me through the siq
