Heartbeats
i can feel my heart beat growing attached,
giving here, giving there, the only way i know best,
can we fathom loves bind, its ongoing tune,
can we build up the courage to allow it to move,
when we see no response does it damper our hope,
to push love away, and leave it alone,
never ever let love leave,
keep it alive, let it be seen,
too many lose touch, too many die,,
they believe in the lie to help them survive,
to detach is to cope, they believe this to be true,
don't allow the fear of the pain to take over you.
