Fascinating thriveni. Your two lines had me googling earth’s ‘heartbeat’…. Like clockwork, seismometers across multiple continents have detected a mysterious pulse since at least the early 1960s. Some have suggested that volcanoes are the likely source of the pulsations. Until I read your poem I didn’t feel, hear or appreciate the ‘heartbeats’. Thanks for sharing. Cheers - Gary
