Heartbeat
Love may come from unexpected places
From strange people and stranger places
But the beat in their heart can be the same
For, in turmoil, love can be tame
Heartbeat can sing the same melody
That rings through the soul like divine rhapsody
When true love pulls the string from the heart
Lovers will dare all just to never be apart
Even a string from the heart that was broken
Will find a way for its beat to be awoken
Even a heart that once sang a wrongful tune
Will find its way back on the winding sand of dune
For, the waves and the tides can be high
But a true love's whim, even in fall, will never die
A heartbeat that is roused and certain
Will conquer the heart and the soul of its captain
