You hear the heartbeat
Of this little human
A darling alien
Inside of you
See the sonogram
The first picture
Laugh and cry
At this miracle
So beautiful
The creation
Of love and hope
In a single being
You hear the heartbeat
And it's inside you
You're filled with peace
And so much love
There's no feeling
That can describe it
That little angel
That's a part of you
That little heartbeat
Is a reminder
That life has a way
To connect us all
Our ancestors
And our children
Become a line
Of light and love
And the Universe
Is always smiling
At the miracle
Of each birth
Every soul
Is a blessing
Each one of us
Starlight and magical
And our heartbeats
They become unified
With the heartbeats
Of the Universe
So, listen carefully
To those heartbeats
They're precious echoes
That the Universe can feel
