Heartache Again
Too much heartache in the world burns
yet again and again it returns
unending, never ceasing
it reflects madness releasing
in the mirror of our memory
and still in this land of one percent plenty
political bureaucracies hold their tongue;
silence unyielding for old and young
blind, ignorant, oblivious thieves
in their pseudo prayer and grieves.
The minorities hold little reign
while the rich and positioned feign
second amendment rights outweigh
the gift of life foolishly taken away.
