Heart Wisdom

Terror doth strike the prideful heart full oft..
While humble hearts are protected and soft

Danny, interesting thought. I notice that some of our leaders seem very stressed these days. They're not happy. I read your message below about a soft heart. Some men are very fortunate to have or achieve that state. It has nothing to do with the pronouns we choose to use--it's about character and having a small footprint (do we don't destroy everything in the neighborhood. Smiles!!

I once had a LARGE footprint and sadly if I am honest was quite proud of it. I have grown wiser...slowly...much too slowly...but at least I'm getting there...I hope.

such wisdom and insight in your poem...this should be a quote on a motivational poster or card at the card shop. Well done!

I've finally learned that the soft heart is actually the strongest one.
